Introduction to Engineering Design

Introduction to Engineering Design is a fundamental pre-engineering course where students become familiar with the engineering design process.

Available to: Grades 9-12
Taught By: Mr. Gogel
Requires: None

Mechanical and Architectural Design

Mechanical and Architectural Design provides students with a basic understanding of creating working drawings related to manufac- turing detailing and assembly as well as a survey of Architectural design focused on the creative design of buildings.

BIM Architecture

BIM Architecture will introduce students to Building Information Modeling (BIM) which is an intelligent 3D model-based process that gives architecture, engineering, and construction professionals the insight and tools to better plan, design, and construct buildings.

Available to: Grades 11-12
Taught By: Mr. Gogel
Requires: (1) Introduction to Engineering Design

Architectural Design Capstone

Architectural Design Capstone will continue to build on students’ knowledge and skills in the field of architecture as they plan and design more complex structures and present their designs to a team of evaluators.

Available to: Grades 12
Taught By: Mr. Gogel
Requires: (1) Introduction to Engineering Design; (2) Mechanical and Architectural Design

I gained experience with the programs that architects use in the business world, and made connections that will help me advance my career through the ACE mentoring program. -- Hannah Jones

Taught me a lot of engineering aspects. How to do certain things concerning engineering and architectural designs. I worked in CAD and all sorts of things. Helped me boost my knowledge to become an Architectural Engineer. And since I was in engineering I learned things that a normal Architect wouldn't and that's amazing. Never know if you would want to switch fields or electrical problems can show up while designing a building. -- Jeremiah Davis

I learned how to handle certain situations better. How to do better under pressure, and how to be the best at everything I do. -- Andrew Gonzalez
